Special Kitchenware Collection

March 1st - June 15th!

We are now accepting cookware and kitchenware items as our special seasonal collection. These materials are included in your standard service plan, with no additional charges!

Here are more details, categorized by material:

Metal: Pots, pans, baking trays, utensils, etc. We'll accept metal items in any form. Anything that is in reusable form will be donated. Anything that is no longer usable will be recycled as scrap metal. No sharp knives please: Our team sorts every single item by hand and we do not want anyone getting hurt.

Ceramic: Plates, bowls, mugs, etc. We'll accept ceramic items in intact condition only. We cannot recycle broken ceramics. Please wrap items carefully when placing them in your collection bag/box to avoid breakage.

Glass: Plates, bowls, glasses, etc. We'll accept glass items in intact condition only. We cannot recycle broken tempered glass. Please wrap items carefully when placing them in your collection bag/box to avoid breakage.

Wood: Cutting boards, serving bowls, serving spoons, etc. We accept wooden items in reusable condition only.

Plastic: Plates, bowls, cups, water bottles, etc. We accept plastic items in reusable condition only.

**Preparation**: Please package fragile kitchenware items in a separate box, apart from your Happy Beetle collection bags. That way our driver will know to take more care when loading these items into the van. As a reminder, each residential Happy Beetle customer is allotted 2 Happy Beetle bags plus 1 additional item or container at each pickup.

Aside from metal products, any other items not in usable condition should be disposed of in your trash bin, as these items are not recyclable, even by us.
